Falsify Breaks Limits with Debut Album “Beyond Boundaries”

The local metalcore scene has found a rising powerhouse in Falsify, a six-member band born from the small but musically passionate community of Pili. Created by the father of drummer Joshua Buena, who also manages the band, Falsify is a testament to what happens when raw talent meets relentless determination.

The band’s lineup is a fusion of energy and skill: Kyle Penas and Casey Aguila on vocals, Sean Transona on lead guitar, Ralph Flores on rhythm guitar, Niño James Antoinne Nogot on bass, and Joshua Buena driving the beat behind the drums. Together, they’ve carved their sound into something uniquely their own.

On May 25, 2025, Falsify released their debut album, Beyond Boundaries. The record dives deep into themes of pain, suffering, and existential struggle, building towards a powerful conclusion that celebrates breaking personal limits and reaching one’s full potential. The meaning is vividly captured in the album’s striking cover art a visual metaphor for transcending life’s obstacles.

The journey to Beyond Boundaries was anything but easy. It took the band two years to complete the project, not just because of the complexity of the music, but because the members decided to take full creative control learning how to produce, mix, and master their own songs. The result is an album that doesn’t just sound authentic it is authentic.

And Falsify isn’t slowing down. With their debut album now making waves, the band is already planning a series of EPs and singles to further explore their artistry and connect with fans across the Philippines and beyond.

In a scene that’s constantly evolving, Falsify’s Beyond Boundaries is more than just an album title it’s a mission statement.
