President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is closely monitoring the ongoing nationwide demonstrations against corruption, Malacañang confirmed on Sunday.

In an interview, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro said the President wants to ensure that all protest activities remain orderly, peaceful, and within the bounds of the law.

“The President’s directive is clear while the people are free to express their grievances, no laws should be violated and all actions must remain within legal parameters,” Castro explained.

She added that the Chief Executive is paying attention not only to the conduct of the rallies but also to the genuine concerns being raised by the public.

Malacañang also urged participants and the broader public to stay vigilant against groups that may attempt to exploit the rallies for their own political interests or to discredit the government.
