Manila, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Tuesday reminded government officials to remain firm, uncompromised, and united in addressing corruption, stressing the urgent need to restore public trust in state institutions.

Speaking on the issue of corruption in government, Marcos acknowledged the frustration of many Filipinos over persistent controversies.

“Many of our people are dismayed by the layers of problems drowning them every day,” the President said. “Let us not dismiss that anger. Let us confront it. Let us be humble and provide concrete solutions.”

Marcos further emphasized that while the nation already recognizes what is wrong, the challenge lies in correcting it.

“We know the mistakes, and we must fix them. Reforming our government is the only way we can win back the trust of our people,” he added.

The President’s call highlighted his administration’s push for stronger governance reforms, accountability, and measures to combat corruption across all levels of government.
